There was a reason why there were such large protests all over this country this past summer. The people have weighed you and your ilk in the scales and have found you wanting!! They have held you up against the standard of the Constitution and have seen you violating it. The people have spoken with a mighty voice and have been ridiculed as terrorists, Aryan supporters, fanatics,and worse.

Get this through your Neanderthal skull The People -as in We The People remember that phrase from the Constitution-are going to throw you and your fellow liberal bums out on your keesters in 2010. You will be humbled and your childish request to have Eric Holder jail an innocent critic will be your lunatic legacy and you will be a total laughingstock-but wait-you already are!!!

If you have been mislead by one of these links I apologize for the bad behaviour of others. I will be reporting this to Google to make anyone misusing the name of this blog to cease and desist.

An Original American Radical

Thomas Jefferson an original American radical. If o'l Tom were alive today he would probably be branded an "extremist"

Thomas Jefferson, scholar, diplomat, revolutionary,scientist,president. In many was a man born out of time. A genius whose ideas and thoughts still shape our world generations after his death.

This intellectual giant was part of a class of extraordinary men who dreamed of freedom and made it happen. Guided by the principles of the word of God, and the Bible's emphasis on freedom, these men-not only dreamed of-but brought into existence-freedom unmatched in human history.

These men dreamed a dream of freedom, of self determination, and an ideal that said "government is but a necessary evil"

What would Mr. Jefferson think of some of the events happening in our time.? Would he say that those who are angry over government usurpation of power-as well as -a total disregard for the Constitution- are extremist,out of control, an angry mob?

I think he would, but he would say such things, from the public's point of view. He would realize that the people-in their wisdom- were rightfully outraged by the shenanigans of a rogue government.

This man had a head on his shoulders. He realized that the driving force of this nation was not the government but the people.

Today we have a government that seems to have forgotten that the people are the master. Mr. Jefferson understood that the true role of government was to serve the people, and to provide, an atmosphere, where they could achieve Their goals and aspirations, not bow, scrape,and serve, an out of control government.

Where would Thomas Jefferson stand today, squarely on the side of townhallers, and teaparty people, and anyone else who yearned for freedom and SELF determination,not government fiat.

In our time we have much hand wringing over the number of casualties we have in the "War on Terror". Though our current President refers to it as "Overseas Contingency Operations".

American soldiers dying anywhere in the world is a tragedy. If I had my way none of America's finest would ever have to make the ultimate sacrifice. However freedom isn't free and the founders of this country understood that for us to retain our freedom we had to be willing to fight.

Notice the progression in John Adams thoughts. He must study war, so his sons,would have liberty. Nothing has changed today. We must be willing and able to protect this precious gift of freedom.

This man was willing to fight so that future generations would be able to pursue peaceful interests and would not have to "study war".

Our founding father were willing to fight, in order that their successors could pursue peaceful interests.

As we near the anniversary of the attacks of 9 11 we would all do well to remember that "The tree of Liberty is watered with the blood of patriots".

We have not sought the fight at hand, but now that the battle is joined, we can settle for nothing less than victory. To do otherwise is unworthy of our heritage as Americans.

The Constitution of The United States of America. In my view one of the greatest documents in the history of mankind. Surpassed only by the Bible.

In fact in my opinion this document is close to holy writ, and is without a doubt inspired by God.

The Constitution has brough tunprecedented freedom, prosperity, security,and stability to,not only the United States,but the entire world.

Because of the words- penned over 200 years ago-in this text people have been guaranteed freedoms that preceding generations only dreamed of.

We can pick our own leaders, hold them accountable, and demand they do OUR will. Not the other way around.
As a result of this Nation being formed, and this precious document being created freedom has not only blossemed in America, but has also began to spread around the world.

This country-guided by the principles set forth in the Constitution- has set entire peoples free from the strangle hold of tyrants and dictators time and time again.

The world has beaten a path to our door seeking the freedom,peace,prosperityand security that is afforded by The Constitution.

Alas today our Constitution is under attack like never before. It's time that We The People demand that our elected leaders return to the Constitution.If they refuse they must be turned out of office period.

My friend's we live in perilous times for this tenuous thing we call freedom! John Adams warning is especially important in our times.

Our current leaders in the White House and Congress don't care about the Constitution. They are working overtime to steal our freedom away.

The current health care plan, cap and trade legislation, as well as other actions by the current regime, pose grave threats to our freedom and America as we know it.

Obama Care will make every American "beholdin" to the government. Cap and Trade will have the government intruding into areas they have never been be for.

We are already under the gun from the I.R.S. . If we're not care full Obama Care as well as Cap and Trade will enslave us all.

Go to the Library of Congress and become informed about the provisions of the Health care package, as well as cap and trade. I think you will agree that our government is in danger of turning it's back on freedom.

If this happens we may never regain that most precious of gifts to man from God.

Silent No Longer

This is my second post on Political Quick Reads. I'm a working class man, the son of a working man. I remember as a boy growing up in the sixties,and I remember ninteen sixty eight quite well. This was a summer of rebelllion.

Unfortunately it was mostly anti American, blame America first stuff. I seem to remember at the time and afterward the talking heads referred to it as the summer of discontent.

Well just as those on the left had their watershed moment in 1968 when they profoundly altered, and changed the directoin of this nation. The repercussions of which are being felt to this present time.

We have had our summer of discontent. In the late sixties early seventies someone coined the phrase "Silent Majority. and linked it with what was called the "Vocal minority". Well the silent majority is being heard and this is our chance to profoundly change the direction of this nation.

The vocal minority had nothing to do with race, but rather, ideology. The Silent Majority represented those folks who believed in the ideal of America, as well as ,the traditions of this country.

The vocal minority on the other hand blamed the ills of the world on America and eschewed traditional American Ideals.

I have been a member of the Silent Majority for too long. But things have become so serious that I can remain silent no longer. I have heard that the latest polls show conservatives outnumber liberals two to one. It's time for us to "seize" the day, and write, publish, and organize as much as we can to help bring this country back to its foundational, and, Constitutional principles.

That's right there is a new blog in town. As you can see from my profile photo I'm somebody who doesn't want the government trampling my rights and freedoms. Because of this point of view me,and people like me, who dare to raise our voices and speak truth to power are called angry mobs,Nazi's, violent -not yet anyway- and many other interesting adjectives.

The current crowd in Washington -and by crowd I mean primarily the left- have become so arrogant that they believe we exist to serve them. Well I've got news for ya Pelosi , Reid,and Obama, that ain't the way it is . YOU PEOPLE WORK FOR US. Furthermore next election We The People are going to drive that point home and fire your a---es.

Well now you know where I stand. I stand for truth, justice, and the American way. In this day and age that makes me an extremist. My God they would come unglued and go into convulsions if John Wayne were to suddenly come back.

Come to think of it we could use a new John Wayne or Ronald Reagan about now.
