This blog is all about freedom. However this morning I found dozens of links on Google that reference this blog but go to totally unrelated sites. If you have been mislead by one of these links I apologize for the bad behaviour of others. I will be reporting this to Google to make anyone misusing the name of this blog to cease and desist.

And to the paid seo sob's that are hijacking my content you are hereby ordered to stop this unethical behaviour immediately!

An Original American Radical

Thomas Jefferson an original American radical. If o'l Tom were alive today he would probably be branded an "extremist"

Thomas Jefferson, scholar, diplomat, revolutionary,scientist,president. In many was a man born out of time. A genius whose ideas and thoughts still shape our world generations after his death.

This intellectual giant was part of a class of extraordinary men who dreamed of freedom and made it happen. Guided by the principles of the word of God, and the Bible's emphasis on freedom, these men-not only dreamed of-but brought into existence-freedom unmatched in human history.

These men dreamed a dream of freedom, of self determination, and an ideal that said "government is but a necessary evil"

What would Mr. Jefferson think of some of the events happening in our time.? Would he say that those who are angry over government usurpation of power-as well as -a total disregard for the Constitution- are extremist,out of control, an angry mob?

I think he would, but he would say such things, from the public's point of view. He would realize that the people-in their wisdom- were rightfully outraged by the shenanigans of a rogue government.

This man had a head on his shoulders. He realized that the driving force of this nation was not the government but the people.

He knew that all real progress, change, security and freedom, lay not in governmental control, but in the wisdom and genius of the people.

Today we have a government that seems to have forgotten that the people are the master. Mr. Jefferson understood that the true role of government was to serve the people, and to provide, an atmosphere, where they could achieve Their goals and aspirations, not bow, scrape,and serve, an out of control government.

Where would Thomas Jefferson stand today, squarely on the side of townhallers, and teaparty people, and anyone else who yearned for freedom and SELF determination,not government fiat.

In our time we have much hand wringing over the number of casualties we have in the "War on Terror". Though our current President refers to it as "Overseas Contingency Operations".

American soldiers dying anywhere in the world is a tragedy. If I had my way none of America's finest would ever have to make the ultimate sacrifice. However freedom isn't free and the founders of this country understood that for us to retain our freedom we had to be willing to fight.

Notice the progression in John Adams thoughts. He must study war, so his sons,would have liberty. Nothing has changed today. We must be willing and able to protect this precious gift of freedom.

This man was willing to fight so that future generations would be able to pursue peaceful interests and would not have to "study war".

Our founding father were willing to fight, in order that their successors could pursue peaceful interests.

As we near the anniversary of the attacks of 9 11 we would all do well to remember that "The tree of Liberty is watered with the blood of patriots".

We have not sought the fight at hand, but now that the battle is joined, we can settle for nothing less than victory. To do otherwise is unworthy of our heritage as Americans.

The Constitution of The United States of America. In my view one of the greatest documents in the history of mankind. Surpassed only by the Bible.

In fact in my opinion this document is close to holy writ, and is without a doubt inspired by God.

The Constitution has brough tunprecedented freedom, prosperity, security,and stability to,not only the United States,but the entire world.

Because of the words- penned over 200 years ago-in this text people have been guaranteed freedoms that preceding generations only dreamed of.

We can pick our own leaders, hold them accountable, and demand they do OUR will. Not the other way around.
As a result of this Nation being formed, and this precious document being created freedom has not only blossemed in America, but has also began to spread around the world.

This country-guided by the principles set forth in the Constitution- has set entire peoples free from the strangle hold of tyrants and dictators time and time again.

The world has beaten a path to our door seeking the freedom,peace,prosperityand security that is afforded by The Constitution.

Alas today our Constitution is under attack like never before. It's time that We The People demand that our elected leaders return to the Constitution.If they refuse they must be turned out of office period.

My friend's we live in perilous times for this tenuous thing we call freedom! John Adams warning is especially important in our times.

Our current leaders in the White House and Congress don't care about the Constitution. They are working overtime to steal our freedom away.

The current health care plan, cap and trade legislation, as well as other actions by the current regime, pose grave threats to our freedom and America as we know it.

Obama Care will make every American "beholdin" to the government. Cap and Trade will have the government intruding into areas they have never been be for.

We are already under the gun from the I.R.S. . If we're not care full Obama Care as well as Cap and Trade will enslave us all.

Go to the Library of Congress and become informed about the provisions of the Health care package, as well as cap and trade. I think you will agree that our government is in danger of turning it's back on freedom.

If this happens we may never regain that most precious of gifts to man from God.
